How to Apply for Funding

The Susan G. Komen Twin Tiers Region is proud to announce the availability of grant funds for the fiscal year 2014-2015. Applications for breast cancer and breast health programs from non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and educational institutions in Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Tompkins counties in New York; and Bradford, Potter, and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania are eligible for funding.

The promise of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for everyone and energizing science to find the cures. Our organization runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Komen Twin Tiers funds non-duplicative, breast cancer screening and treatment projects and community-based breast health education for the medically underserved in the nine counties listed above, and since 2000 we have invested more than $1,100,000 toward our regional mission of ending breast cancer forever.

A letter of intent to apply must be emailed by November 27, 2013.  Eligible applications must be postmarked by 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2014.  Announcements of funding will be made in March of 2014.
